INTERIOR
DESIGNERS

"We create the places, the atmosphere, the mood."

Hanna Bialic, interior designer for the Nowe Orłowo

You are a couple in both your private and professional lives. How do you make it work?

Hanna Bialic: Kuba and I have known each other for ten years and have been designing together ever since. Actually, every concept, every design, is created side by side. We sit close together, we complement each other, we create everything from start to finish, but also sometimes those ideas can clash.

"Quality is something that cannot be cheated."

Paweł Szczygieł, interior designer for the Nowe Kolibki project

What do you like the most in your profession?
Katarzyna Rodziewicz: The most beautiful thing about our job is that we have the ability to create a vision that then will turn it into reality. For it feels wonderful to me when I see a project realized, that a while ago was only an idea in my head.

Pawel Szczygieł

What is the most important in creating interiors?
The most important thing in my work is the functionality of the space. In order to start designing a given interior, it is necessary to collect all the information and subsequently adapt it to a plan in a way that the interior becomes as attractive and functional as possible, and its scale matches the overall task.

"Finally, we stop paying attention to what is currently fashionable and start thinking about what we really like, thus creating a space in which we will feel good."

Anna Wojczyńska, architect and interior designer Okrzei project

Anna Wojczyńska

For Invest Komfort KUOO and Tamizo developed interior designs for the Smolna Sopot investment.

You’re an architectural, married couple, yet you run two separate studios...

Katarzyna Kuo Stolarska: That's true. Each of us has a separate architectural studio. We join forces when we have to deal with particularly demanding, large projects. That's when our teams work together.

"By creating and shaping a space, we shape people's lives."
